The Distinguished Staff Awards recognize and celebrate staff members who have made an impact at The Ohio State University. The annual award honors 12 outstanding staff members for their significant leadership, accomplishments and service to the university.
Award recipients are selected based on how they have done any of the following: enhanced the quality of work life for colleagues or customers; provided outstanding service to university stakeholders; developed creative solutions to increase department or university operations; and demonstrated one or more of the university’s values.
Recipients are honored at an awards luncheon ceremony in April. Each recipient will receive a $1,500 cash award, an increase of $700 to his or her base salary and trophy.
Eligibility includes all part-time and full-time staff with a minimum of five years of continuous service at The Ohio State University in a regular, non-faculty position. Previous recipients of the Distinguished Staff Award are ineligible for nomination.
The nomination deadline is Friday, January 15, at 5 p.m.
