National Employee Wellness Month Events

Throughout June, The Ohio State University will celebrate National Employee Wellness Month. Your Plan for Health (YP4H) will offer free on-campus fitness classes, webinars on healthy cooking and mindfulness, wellness walks, biometric health screenings, and much more! All Ohio State faculty and staff are encouraged to participate. Click here for a full list of events taking place in June, and check back regularly for new additions.

YP4H 2013 Incentive Program ends December 13

This is your last week to track points through the Your Plan for Health (YP4H) incentive program.  The site will go down Friday, December 13 and will be back up in January with a new incentive program structure.  Make sure to login and track your final activities for challenges to earn a $75 Amazon gift card, a FitBit™, and entry for the grand prize drawing. Open Enrollment: How to confirm you will receive the PHA credit

Take a Lap on September 26

On Thursday (9/26), benefits-eligible faculty and staff are encouraged to attend the Take a Lap event on their campus. During the event on the Columbus campus, starting at 12 p.m., participants will walk with university leaders and Brutus. They also can enter to win Your Plan for Health incentive points, receive a free Hit the Road water bottle, and enjoy a farmers’ market on the Wexner Center for the Arts plaza. Participants may count their steps taken during Take a Lap in the Hit the Road challenge starting Monday (9/30).

Hit the Road with the Buckeyes Returns

Your Plan for Health’s (YP4H) most popular challenge, Hit the Road with the Buckeyes, is back! This physical activity challenge is designed around the Ohio State football season. From Monday, September 30 – Friday, November 29, teams of four to six benefits-eligible faculty and staff and their enrolled spouses/same-sex domestic partners can compete to “walk” the distance to and from Ohio State’s Big Ten away football games. Teams that hit certain mileages will earn raffle tickets for prize drawings.

Healthy Buckeye Contest Winners

Many thanks to everyone who submitted an entry or voted in Your Plan for Health’s Healthy Buckeye video contest for faculty and staff. Two videos tied to win the People’s Choice awards: Being Healthy Buckeyes and Dancersyze. To find out who will win the Judge’s Choice award, join YP4H at 12:30 p.m.

Vote for Your Favorite Healthy Buckeye Video

From Wednesday (7/24) – Wednesday (7/31), cast your vote for the best Healthy Buckeye video! Faculty and staff from across Ohio State have submitted entries into Your Plan for Health’s video contest, showing their Buckeye pride and sharing their health and wellness stories. Watch their videos at go.osu.edu/HBvideos and “like” the video that inspires you! The video with the most “likes” will receive the Healthy Buckeye People’s Choice award during the Rally for Wellness on Tuesday (8/13).
